Nancy Laughlin, MFT |
Nancy joined Ned
to co-lead the DBT skills workgroups in 2008. She uses techniques from Eckhart
Tolle and Gestalt therapy in her therapy practice to encourage her clients to
face life head on and to make one’s own decisions. She also helps clients learn
to stay in the present moment rather than the future or the past. She believes
we all have choices in life and that she can help clients choose, however, that
the ultimate decision is up to the client. Her four years of therapy
experience, along with her 20 years in corporate America and military service,
help her to assist her clients with many of today’s stressors and situations.
Her specialties include self-esteem, substance abuse, addictions, and eating
disorders. She holds an MA in clinical psychology from Chapman University. She
is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 46559) and her phone
number 916-802-7659.
